Temple Wallet is one of the most popular wallets for Tezos. Here’s a simple guide explaining how to create an account for yourself.
Go to templewallet.com. Download the web extension or the mobile app.
To download the web extension, select your web browser from the list.
You may also choose to download the app for Apple or Android.
Create a new Wallet.
Create a strong password. Reenter the password and accept the terms and condidtions.
Backup your wallet.
In this example, we will choose manual backup.
Tap to reveal your seed phrase. Store it securely, then tick the checkbox confirming that you made a backup.
Verify your seed phrase by typing the right words in the sequence.
Congratulations! You now have a Temple Wallet account!
Temple Wallet offers several options for you to send, receive, buy, or trade crypto.
Select Receive to get a copy of your crypto wallet address and QR code for receiving crypto from another address.
Select Buy to add crypto to your wallet using your credit card.
Select a payment gateway such as Moonpay.
Sign in via email.
Enter your billing address.
Enter your card details.
Tap the Swap button at the bottom to quickly exchange one token for another.
Tap Market to view the current market price of available tokens.
Your Temple Wallet is not limited to crypto trading. You can also use it to store NFTs and keep track of dApps connected to your account.
